Soup HubThe Soup Hub is an e-inclusion community telecentre at the Suzanne Aubert Compassion Centre (SACC) in Wellington, New Zealand. Our mission is to help our guests develop digital literacy skills by providing access to computer technology, the internet and some help from our friendly mentors. The Soup Hub is a volunteer project. We could use your help to extend the hours our hub is open. Please check our volunteer page to get involved. 7 Nov 2012: Together with Wellington ICT for their council hubs, the Soup Hub won the 2012 New Zealand Open Source Award for Open Source in Social Services. Many thanks to everyone who helped make this happen! See a list of all winners ![]() The Soup Hub was on the radio! Not everyone has equal access to the tools and education which bring us into this technological culture. We strongly believe access to information and communication tools are a human right. We believe that by providing access to computers, the internet and skills training we can have a positive effect on the people who come to SACC to feed their bodies; we can also provide the service of feeding their minds.
